We, Sureya Kundu (67) and Anita Kundu (36) are a dynamic mother and daughter team. We share a home in Auckland, New Zealand with a beautiful tortoise shell cat called Ginger. We live on a suburban sized section of approximately 1/5th of an acre. The garden occupies about 1/10th of an acre. Despite having only limited space, we are passionate about producing as much of our own organic food as possible.
Sue is a retired nurse who has worked as a midwife (obstetrics) and also in the dialysis department of hospitals in Johannesburg, London, Whangarei and Auckland. Sue enjoys being in the kitchen and making delicious dishes with fresh produce from Anita's Garden.
Anita is a dual qualified lawyer in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. After completing a conjoint BA/LLB (hons) degree at the University of Auckland, Anita spent nearly five years working at the large international commercial law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. After completing a training contract at the firm's headquarters in London, she moved to the Paris office, where she specialised in the field of International Arbitration. More recently, Anita worked in the Corporate Department of the leading New Zealand commercial law firm, Bell Gully. She has recently left legal practice to dedicate more time to her new business, Anita's Garden.
